EVERY DAY IS A HOLIDAY IN MAY!

Yeah, I love to celebrate just like most children!  I thought it might be fun (kind of like dessert) to end your school year with some holidays.  Some are simple like Pack Rat Day (clean out your desk), while others might take a little planning like National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day.  Take a look at this list and you're sure to find at least a handful of special days to end your year with a smile.

Mother Goose Day (Invite every child to say a rhyme.) 

Brothers and Sisters Day 
(Can they do something nice for their siblings?) 

Great American Grump Out (Can you go all day without being grumpy?) 

Bird Day (Sing a song, read a book, and do an art project that relates to birds.) 

4 International Star Wars day  (May the fourth be with you!)

Astronomy Day (Take a night walk and look at the sky.) 

No Socks Day

12 Limerick Day (Read limericks to your class.) 

13 Frog Jumping Day (Have frog races on the playground.)

22 Buy a Musical Instrument Day (Or, play a musical instrument day.)
